Theme 1

Describe the flat/house you would like to live in. talk about planning and decorating the interior of it.

Now I am living at the hostel and when I go to bed in dark cold night I always dream about my future dwelling, its planning and interior decorating.

Well, when I finish the university I want to move into a fairly big flat at the top of a skyscraper. I want to have a fitted kitchen with all kinds of kitchen appliances, such as a microwave, a dishwasher, a stove, a fridge and so on. In a flat of my dream there will be two spacy rooms. One of them will be my bed room. It must be large and light. French windows should look out onto the vast green park. Furniture will be made of light solid wood. There will be a bed, a chest of drawers and a bedside table with a lamp. I like to have a lot of fresh air and space around me so I want that my flat would be simple and containing only the basic necessities.

As for another room it will combine a lounge and a study room. I want to diversify this place, so there will be white plastered walls and bright furniture, for example, a red settee and a yellow desk. Windows will face south and in the room will be a lot of sun.

So, I hope that my dwelling will be warm and cozy, and I will keep open house and often invite my friends and relatives for tea.

Speak on season in your country. What is your favorite one? Say what kind of activities one can do in this time of a year?

In my country, as almost everywhere, all seasons are clearly expressed and have their typical signs. There are winter, spring, summer and autumn in my country. Each of them is amazing and interesting after all there are so many activities that we can do in this time of the year.

Well, winter is one of the most longest and difficult periods of a year. It actually starts in November with the first frost and finishes in March with a thaw and slush. Winter is usually pretty severe. In the end of November rivers and lakes are frozen over and everything is covered with snow. There are a lot of strong winds and even gales and blizzards in winter. As we have a lot of snow all our winter activities connected with it. We like play snowballs, construct snow castles, ski and ice skate.

After winter spring always comes. It lasts 2 month April and May. In the beginning of spring the weather is unsteady. Thaw alternating with frost, sunny weather with rainy day. But to the end of April the weather becomes fine. It`s usually warm, sunny and dry. All orchards blossom, birds come back to their homes. If there are not showers and thunders in May people have a barbecue or camp out in tents and go out in small sailing boats.

As for summer, it`s my favorite season. I like hot summer weather and I feel more comfortable in scorching weather than in just warm and rainy one. The most part of summer is pretty close and humid with showers and thunderstorms. Sometimes it becomes a bit colder for a few days but then there is a heat-wave again. I like summer because there are a lot of fruit, vegetables and berries and due to high temperatures we can have a rest near the river or the sea. We also play different sport games and just have a fun.

The last season is autumn and, to be honest, I hate it. It becomes chilly and rainy. Sometimes it`s foggy in the morning and drizzly all day long. Tress turn yellow, birds fly away and people become sadder and more aggressive. In the end of autumn there are the first frosts which replaced by rains with paddles and slush. My favorite autumn activity is reading an interesting book with a cup of hot cacao under the blanket after a hard work day.

The division responsibility is one of the most important issues of family life which influences on building health relationships between family members.

First of all, it is the division of responsibilities between parents and children. For example, children keep tidy their rooms and parents keep a whole house in order. It`s not very difficult for children, they just must be taught hang their clothes up when they take them off or put dirty washing in the laundry basket or take glasses and pates down to the kitchen. Also, children can walk their pets whereas parents will take out rubbish or work in the garden.

What is more difficult problem it`s the division responsibilities between wife and husband. Several decades ago, only women used to keep houses. Nowadays everything has changed. Women have become high fliers and in the fight to the top they forgot about home work. So, now not only women but also men are involved in keeping houses and cooking dinner. Often household chores delegated as follows. A husband makes purchases and a wife prepares meal. A wife takes kids to school and a husband pays the bills. And so on and so force.

So, the division of responsibility is the extremely important issue of the human society. And I think that there is no perfect decision for it. Each family has its own way of dealing with household chores which is suitable exactly for them.
