Foreign languages

FL are very useful for people’s communicating. We learn FL for different reasons. When, for example, you travel abroad and can speak FL, it’s easy to communicate with local people. Another reason is business. Big companies usually prefer employees who know at least one FL. So, learning a FL will help me to find a good job in the future. That’s why it’s useful to begin studying FL at school.

As for me, I study English at school, because English is an official language of famous organizations and it is a native l. of many countries, like the USA, Great Britain, Australia and others. I’m going to learn (Spanish) in the nearest future, it’s sounds very nice for me, I like the pronunciation of Spanish words. But now I’m trying to improve my English by watching films with subtitles and reading adopted books.

All in all, learning FL is very important for our future. That’s all what I wanted to say.

Internet

First of all I should say that the Internet has become an extremely important in modern society. People nowadays use it for everything. They earn money with the help of the Net, communicate with each other, using social networks or Skype, buy goods online and certainly get necessary information or know current news from different sites.

As for me, I’m not an exception. Usually I chat with my friends, download different films or music and sometimes buy goods from Aliexpress.

But I should say the Internet can be harmful for users, if they stop living in reality. A lot of teens, especially boys play internet games online and they don’t want to communicate in real life. That is why, it’s necessary to know limits and to be able to stop. That’s all what I wanted to say.

TV is important in modern society; people get current news, watch different exciting programs.

TV nowadays has a lot of great qualified channels, and we can choose what we like.

As for me, I usually watch TV in the evening, when I have free time. But honestly to say I’m very busy studying at school and preparing for state exams.

There is a question about preference: watching TV or reading a book. Personally I prefer reading books because we have an interesting subject at school – Literature and we have to read great deal of classical and modern books, and I like it, it develops my mind and even speech. That’s all what I wanted to say.

Coming exams

I should say that exams are necessary at studying process; they show us level of our knowledge, besides we try to do our best to get as good marks as it’s possible, so we spent almost all the time preparing for exams.

State Final Attestation (GIA) is an exam with tests and questions with full answers. Every student must take these exams in Russian language and Math after finishing the 9^th grade.

We can also choose other subjects for passing GIA. As for me, I have chosen English, because I’m sure it will be necessary for my future. Big companies usually prefer employees who know at least one FL. That’s why it’s useful to begin studying FL at school.

If you want to pass your exam in English language, you should be ready to tell about something. English topics can help you. Besides, now I’m trying to improve my English by watching films with subtitles and reading adopted books. And it works! That’s all what I wanted to say.

Travelling

First of all I should say that travelling has become extremely popular last few years. There were different reasons for it. Firstly it was possible for ordinary people, because they could buy Last minute travel for good price. Besides, a lot of people traveled on business. But now situation is changing because of difficult economical situation in our country.

All in all travelling is the best way to meet new people, to see new places, to learn the culture and traditions of the country. Travelling helps to get new unforgettable impressions. When you have holidays you can travel by car, by train, by plane and by sea.

As for me, I prefer to travel by car. It is interesting, because you can see many things in a short time. When we go by car, we don’t take tickets, we put all things we need in a car.

So the last question is what people usually do while travelling. I think it’s clear: they relax, take some tourist trips to see local sightseeing or just enjoy the time sunbathing and swimming. That’s all what I wanted to say.

Books

First of all I should say that it’s not quite right that reading is getting less popular. As for me I like reading books because we have an interesting subject at school – Literature and we have to read great deal of classical and modern books, and I like it, it develops my mind and even speech. But others, who don’t like, they may be prefer watching screen version of classical books, it’s easier and quicker. Here is the question about my attitude towards electronic and paper books. Personally I love paper books, they have specific their own smell and it’s much more better for our health, I mean eyes. I’m keen on classical and fantasy books. First ones give us the basic of understanding the laws of life, fantasy books open us interesting and exciting unknown world. That’s all what I wanted to say.

Environmental problems (Ксюша)

Ecological problems are becoming more and more important today. People are over the world discuss environmental protection, but we still go on polluting air, water and soil.

In our country air pollution is the biggest problem of large cities and industrial areas. It is usually caused by different means of transport. Factories and plants also polluting air. As a result, acid rains appear and damage forests and soil. Water pollution is as dangerous as air pollution. Factories and plants dumps wastes into rivers and lakes polluting them. Soil pollution doesn`t allow plants to grow and makes people sick after they eat fruit and vegetables grown on polluted soil.

How can the problems of environmental pollution be solved? First of all, people should try to use alternative sources of energy. Also, people should be encouraged to plant trees because trees absorb carbon dioxide. We mustn`t ignore the problems of environmental pollution and we have to try and make everything possible to stop or at least reduce it.
